Quieter than a pellet gun when suppressed with subsonic ammunition, and packing a punch unsuppressed with supersonic ammunition, the MK109 Rifle is a favorite in applications ranging from defense to hunting. Due to its specialized nature, the MK109 does not feature an adjustable gas block.For unsuppressed use, stick with 110gr to 130gr full power ammo and for suppressed you can use anything from 110gr all the way to 220gr sub sonics. 147gr is not an actual part of the 300BLK SAAMI spec submitted by AAC and will typically not function fully without the added back pressure of a suppressor.
