Arnzen Arms is fully compliant with the new California gun laws that went into effect on January, 1st 2026.
What this means
If you are purchasing gun parts, or CA compliant magazines, and shipping to CA, you will be presented with a form requiring you to confirm you have "read and understand" the details of the statute and that you are 18 years of age or older. In addition, CA law requires we collect proof of identity. You will be presented with a form field where you can upload a picture of your CA DL, or other valid state ID. Per the statute, we can only ship items to the address printed on the ID. To avoid delays, please make sure the name and address match the information entered with the order.
If you are shipping a gun barrel to CA, we are required to ship it to a federally licensed firearms dealer (FFL). After entering a CA shipping address, the checkout flow will "restart" and proceed as if you are are purchasing a firearm. Enter the name and address of your preferred dealer.

I have recently moved, can I ship to an address different from what's printed on my ID?
No. We can only ship to the address printed on a valid CA ID.
Will I have to attach a copy of my ID every time I place an order?
Yes. Your ID will be saved as part of your user profile, and will be used as a default for future orders. You can upload a picture or scan either during checkout or on your user / account edit page.
Will my order be delayed?
If the shipping address matches what is printed on the ID you uploaded, and the ID is valid, there will be no delay to shipping. If there are any discrepancies, we will reach out to you via email and attempt to resolve. If you give us an incorrect or unmonitored email address, this will cause unnecessary delays.
