Third model. Russians, unlike the U.S. Military were extremely impressed with the Model No. 3 American. Several improvements were requested by the Russian Military and as a result of these changes the Russian Model was created. Grips are smooth 2 piece walnut and steel is modern blue with case hardened hammer and trigger guard.
