The modular forend is made up of a railed top cover and a non-railed top cover" with three short rail sections that can be attached to the sides or bottom of the lower handguard. Overmolded parts are constructed by molding a super strong" rigid fiberglass reinforced skeleton or "insert" that precisely fits the gun's action.
