Hornady Super Shock Tip (SST) Bullets .277 Diameter 120 Grain

In flight, the red polymer tip shifts the bullet's center of gravity back, improving the ballistic coefficient for greater stability and accuracy. Instant the bullet impacts your quarry, the red tip initiates rapid expansion, which is controlled by the jacket's inner grooves. Almost immediately, the SST expands to the optimal diameter for terminal wounds. Cannelure and interlock ring then halt expansion of the mushroomed lead core.
