The Walther CCP was somewhat of a disappointment. There was a lot of hype around this "revolutionary" pistol, but Walther didn't deliver and the panel gives it poor marks.
The trigger pull starts out a little gritty and the disassembly/reassembly process is a little tricky. But the disassembly and reassembly gets better with practice and the trigger smooths out with use. Add to that excellent ergonomics and great accuracy and I give this pistol a thumbs up.
Lots of love for this one from the panel. The only way to make it better, according to Mike, is to have two of them. Watch the video for details and leave comments because your opinion matters!
This popular carry gun is light-weight and easy on the wallet, but not a choice our panel would make for personal protection. Watch the video to find out why! As always, comments are appreciated.
Whether you are looking for protection from two legged miscreants or the four legged predators that inhabit the woods and mountains of most of the U.S., the Wiley Clapp GP100 provides the power and accuracy to solve your protection problem.
Positive reactions all around. Armalite certainly nailed their re-imagining of the AR-15 for competition. Watch the video for details, and don't forget to leave your opinions in the comments!
Looking for a light-weight revolver with the punch of a .38 +P in a more shootable format than a traditional snub-nose. The Ruger LCRx with a 3 inch barrel is the revolver you need!
The panel has mixed reviews on the XDM 5.25. It is a good choice for entry into competition shooting, but limited after-market upgrades make it unlikely to be used throughout a shooters competitive career.
