Welcome to Arnzen Arms 50 Round Reviews. This week we are checking out the Walther Q5 Match Steel Frame Pro.

Walther is known for high quality pistols and the Q5 is the next level for them. This is as good as factory striker fire pistols can get.

The pistol features a billet steel frame with wrap around grip panels, magwell and +2 aluminum base plates. The Frame has front and rear slide serrations, optics cut and a 5” barrel with polygonal rifling and a stepped chamber.

At 10 yards all of us put together and solid group. After we got used to the pistol, we ran controlled pairs (1 sight picture – 2 shots) and Bill Drills (1 sight picture – 6 shots) at 7 yards. The gun shoots beautifully, and the trigger is awesome - a true testament to Walther’s Engineering.

The Walther Q5 Match Steel Frame is clearly targeted at the IDPA SSP and USPSA Carry Optics Crowd. The MSRP of $1999.00 will limit the audience of this gun but if you have the bucks, it is effectively legal cheating for either division.
